About Us!

To introduce ourselves, we are Devin and Ivey Dean. We were both born and raised in Fort Payne and are graduates of Fort Payne High School.   After attending college, we married in June 2011.  In July 2015, after many moves and several different properties, we purchased our home on Lookout Mountain from Jim and Donna Crowe.

It wasn’t until September 2017 that we purchased Roosters Rest and Bass Cabin Rentals from them also. We love living on Lookout Mountain and want to share with others the peace and tranquility we get to enjoy daily. 

We are a family of four with a daughter, Hallie, and a son, Jaxson, who enjoy being outside as much as we do.  On an average day you will find us feeding ducks on the pond, fishing, tending to the horse and joy riding on the tractor around the property.  We love spending our evenings around the fire with family and friends, grilling and roasting marshmallows. My wife Ivey, although a licensed RN, has chosen to be a stay at home mom and manages the rental properties.  The cabin rentals, along with my other businesses, keeps life interesting and a daily adventure. We have been blessed and are thankful to be able to share our properties with others.
